natasha denona bloom blush and glow palette review
A few weeks ago I posted my Sephora VIB Sale Recommendations. I listed some of my all time favorite beauty products. While the sale is certainly a great opportunity to stock up on a few staples, I was also excited to try a few things I had my eye on during my three month no buy.
One of the products I knew I wanted to check out was the Natasha Denona Bloom Blush and Glow Palette ($55).
Something I really appreciate about Natasha Denona is that every detail of the product is well thought out and beautifully designed. From the cardboard box, to the unit packaging, to the large mirror, to the protective divider to prevent the kickback from the powder products from ending up in the cream product pans. No corners are cut and no expenses spared here.
I am one who truly believes that there are no rules to makeup but Natasha Denona recommends using all four products in conjunction for the perfect glowy look.
I recommend applying two cream products with either your fingers or a densely packed synthetic brush, like the Sephora Flawless Airbrush Pro. When applying the Blush shade, proceed with caution. The rich, berry shade goes from zero to one hundred. The Glow Cream Base is much more forgiving. The powder products can be applied with fluffy brush, like the It Cosmetics Heavenly Luxe Wand Ball Powder Brush #8.*
Because I am quite fair, I can use the Glow Cream Base lightly on the top of my cheekbones as a highlight or built-up across the apples of my cheeks as a blush. I love that this gives me even more ways to use the palette.
The powders are lovely. They’re both finely milled with a satin, glowy finish. Glow Extreme is a pale, rose-gold pink that works as highlight or blush topper. Duo Glow is a warm coral with a beautiful golden shift.

Since this arrived, last week, I have reached for nothing but! I’ve used it just about every way I can think of - using all four as suggested, using just the creams, just the powders, 1 cream and 1 powder…I love it all. The Cream Blush reminds me of this long-long discontinued MAC cream color base that I adored. It gives that pinched cheeks look. Both creams dry down a bit - no greasy, smudgy mess. Natasha knows how to make a powder.

After experimenting with this palette, I have to say, I absolutely love it. I like that it can go from a soft peachy cream blush to a full on glam look and everything in between. It’s been a joy to use and play with. If these colors are something that catch your eye, I highly recommend picking this one up!
